I do! Donnie Yen is well on his way to becoming a legend and one of the all time greats. I can't wait to see Bodyguards and Assassins. 14 Blades looks awesome too!

What's your favorite Donnie Yen Film?
I don't really have a favorite, I thinkmost of his movies are great. He is talented.
Yes, I do agree. I have a few of his movies.
Donnie Yen is an excellent martial artist that has been cast in some horrendous movies; therefore, his body of work in no way compares to his talent. This has hurt him tremendously in the United States where is fan base is not as loyal as in Asia.

However, he is featured in some really good fight scenes. Check out...

Kill Zone - Fight scene in the alley (towards end of movie)
Heroes - Fight scene with Jet Li
Blade 2 - Fight scene in the club
Dragon Tiger Gate - All of the fight scenes in which he appears
Fist of the Red Dragon - Fight scene in street against the female warriors
I agree, to a point. Yip Man is by far the best movie in the Kung-Fu genre I have seen in a while. Not many people know who Yip Man is, i.e. the founder of Wing Chun and Master of the late Bruce Lee. Donnei is trained in Martial Arts, as was Jet Li, since he was a kid. I put him right up there with Jacky, Jet and Bruce, and even Gordon Lu in my opinion.

Thats way too easy, Yip Man.

I think he is. i was thinking of creating a page about him on www.kungfu-movie-madness.com they let you make your own web pages on actors or movies you love. i already did one for Yuen Qiu from Kung Fu Hustle!

Donnie Yen is great for sure. I mean who can argue with Flashpoint, and Hero. I'd like to see more of him though. I haven't really delved into his older stuff like the tv series 'fist of fury' have you checked that out?
I gotta jump in on this one, where is the tv series Fist of Fury playing? Thats a new one on me.

It aired in the 90's in China, not the states. a huge hit there apparently. I haven't seen any of it. although my Man has checked out clips on Youtube so you may want to go there and see some stuff. I'm sure we can rent it though by now. :)
wow, thanks.

Ok, we agree on Donnie Yen but what about Don Wong. I LOVE him. He was amazing in Along comes a Tiger. he doesn't talk the entire movie and acts the *@#% out of it! amazing, he's not just an amazing martial artist (although that part isn't really showcased in along comes a tiger for his fighting skills see The Hot, The Cool, and The Vicious) dude is a serious actor! love that!

p.s. be sure to check out new kung fu fan site www.kungfu-movie-madness.com some cool info to be found there. ;)
Yes i love Donnie Yen is the best.
